New Format with a Double Header: Kampala Region League Kicks Off
The Kampala Region League has embraced a new format, and it’s set to kick off on November 2, 2025, with a thrilling double header at FUFA Kadiba Stadium. The league will feature two exciting matches that are sure to get fans on the edge of their seats.

Lufula FC vs. Proline FC
In the first match, Kawempe-based Lufula FC will face off against Nakawa-based Proline FC at 4 pm. As the 2023-24 Kampala Region champions, Proline FC is looking strong under the stewardship of Kitinddide Frank. They’ll be relying on key players like:

- Captain Kiradha Paul, who featured for Kyagwe in the ongoing masaza Cup
- Attacking midfielder Mayende Morgan, who played for Bugerere
- Solomon Lutalo
- Leftback Sulaiman Mutyaba
- Musoke Joshua among others.
Mbogo UTD vs. Kisugu UTD FC
In the evening match, Kawempe-based Mbogo UTD will take on Makindye-based Kisugu UTD FC at 7 pm. Kisugu United is now under the guidance of Coach Yassir Magala, and they’ll be looking to make a statement. Both matches will be live on FUFA TV.

- Edgar’s FC vs. Police FC at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium
- Buganda Road vs. Black Stars at Kanyanya
- Express Water FC vs. Mutungo at UNTC Nakawa

- Born Talent vs. PCCP FC at Kyambogo College
- Nsambya vs. Wembley Boys at Yes Centre
