The KOSA League is set to kick off its fifth season on August 10, 2025, at the YES Center Sports Arena in Nsambya.

New Teams: The league expands from 12 to 16 teams, welcoming four new entrants that will bring fresh competition and excitement to the tournament.
Defending Champions: Twaake FC, the reigning champions, will take on Mossel Bay FC, the second-best team from last season, in the opening match.

Twaake FC clinched the league title win an unbeaten record making them the fourth different team to win the title since league’s inception.

Community Outreach: The league plans to incorporate more community outreach programs, with several sponsors already on board, including Jibu Water, 72 Restaurant & Bakery, and Al-hilal Tours & Travel.

Kosa League won the Best Alumni Schools League at the Local Football Appreciations Awards were they were nominated alongside Budo League, Chaapa League and Ntare League.
