The FUFA Big League resumed today with eight matches at different venues, bringing excitement to football fans across the country.

In one of the matches, Nebbi Central shared spoils with Soltilo Bright Stars FC, with both teams failing to find the back of the net in a goalless draw at Luo Grounds-Nebbi.

Despite their previous win against Ntugasaze FC, Nebbi Central couldn’t repeat the feat, settling for a 0-0 stalemate.

In another match, Onduparaka FC and Wakiso Giants FC also canceled each other out, with the two teams playing out a 0-0 stalemate at Greenlight Stadium.

Meanwhile, Mbale Heroes picked up three points after defeating Bunyaruguru FC 2-1 at Mbale Stadium. Leonard Oriokot gave Mbale Heroes FC an early lead in the 10th minute, and 20 minutes later, Hakiram Shafiq doubled their lead.

Barack Bwanaheri pulled one back for Bunyaruguru in the 66th minute, but it was too little, too late.

Iganga United FC Wins at Home

At Iganga Ssaza Grounds, hosts Iganga United FC emerged victorious after defeating Kataka FC 2-1.

The win was a confidence booster for the home team, who looked determined to make their fans proud.

Ntugasaze Picks Up a Point

At Barokoro Stadium, Paidha Black Angels SC shared spoils with Ntugasaze FC in a 1-1 draw.

Moses Logono’s early strike for the hosts was canceled out by James Jarieko’s 65th goal, earned while on a double license basis from NEC FC.

The point was a slight improvement for Ntugasaze FC after their loss to Nebbi Central in the previous match.

Kigezi HomeBoyz FC’s First Win

In a thrilling encounter, Kigezi HomeBoyz FC finally registered their first victory of the season after defeating Kiyinda Boys FC 2-1 at Kigezi Al Play Ground.

Kiyinda Boys took the lead in the 44th minute through Captain Methodus Jungu, but Michael Kimera equalized for the hosts just a minute later.

Enock Tumwesigye sealed the win for Kigezi HomeBoyz FC with a late penalty, just three minutes from stoppage time, securing coach Saddick Ssempigi’s first three points of the season.

The victory marked a significant turnaround for Kigezi HomeBoyz FC, who had drawn all their first five opening matches in the FUFA Big League.

Coach Saddick Ssempigi must have been under immense pressure, but his team finally delivered, bringing relief to the coaching staff and fans alike.
