Buwambo & Kajjansi Maintain Their 100% Record While UWA Beaten On Road.

The Buganda Region League roared back to life over the weekend, featuring seven thrilling matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

At Seeta Church of Uganda playground, Buwambo United maintained their perfect start to the season, edging out hosts Seeta United FC 1-0.

Mutebi Alex’s solitary goal proved to be the deciding factor, securing all three points for the visitors.

With this win, Buwambo United boasts a 100% record, having won both of their opening fixtures this season.

In Ntejeru, Uganda Sports Arena notched up their first victory of the season, defeating Wobulenzi United Football Club 2-1.

This win provides a much-needed boost for Uganda Sports Arena, while Wobulenzi remains winless in their two outings.

Kajjansi United Football Club continued their impressive form, beating Synergy FC 1-0 at Ndeeba Kayunga.

This marks their second consecutive win, following a 3-1 triumph over Super Eagles Lungogwe Football Club in their opening match.

Other notable results include Nyendo Football Club’s first win of the season, courtesy of a victory over Masaka City FC at Kyetume Lwengo playground.

Young Simba also registered their first win, defeating Nantabulirwa Football Club 2-0 at Bombo Military Barracks ground.

At Gayaza Church Lufula , Manyangwa pulled off a surprise 1-0 win over Simba FC (UWA), handing the latter their first loss of the season. Despite bolstering their squad with experienced players, Simba FC struggled to find their footing.
