A number of Ugandan footballers have been showcasing their skills in various leagues around the world. Here’s a rundown of their performances:
England League One
Assimwe Nathan: Played 60 minutes for AFC Wimbledon in their 1-0 loss to Burton Albion. Toby Sibbick, a Uganda Cranes defender, came on for Burton Albion in the 79th minute.
Burton Albion now sit 20th on board with 15 points after 13 matches while AFC Wimbledon sit 5th on board with 25 points from 14 matches .
UEFA Youth League
Mukasa Divine: Had a mixed game for Manchester City in their 2-1 loss to Villarreal. He missed a penalty in the 29th minute but scored a consolation goal in the 60th minute.

Peter Lwasa: Featured for Pamba in their 1-0 loss to Disan Galiwango’s side Dodoma Jiji
