CAF Champions League First Leg: APR FC Falls to Pyramids FC
APR FC, the Rwanda Primus League champions, hosted defending champions Pyramids FC at Kigali Pele Stadium in the CAF Champions League first leg.

The match ended 2-0 in favor of Pyramids FC, with both goals scored by Congolese forward Fitson Mayele in the 49th and 86th minutes. Egyptian forward Abdelrahman Magdi provided both assists, showcasing his exceptional playmaking skills.
Ugandan Players’ Performance
The three Ugandan players in APR FC’s squad, Ssekiganda, Denis Omedi, and Hakim Kiwanuka, had varying levels of involvement in the match. Ssekiganda played full-time, demonstrating his importance to the team.
