As for Hon Eng Jonard confirming they won’t renew the contract, Hon. Eng Jonard expressed gratitude to the Kitara FC family for the time they’ve shared as chairman of Jonard Conglomerate Investments Ltd.

He mentioned they’ll continue supporting in other ways, and a new sponsor is welcome.

Kitara FC did secure a sponsorship deal worth 200 million Uganda Shillings with Jonard Conglomerate Investments Ltd (JCIL) in August 2023.

The deal was for two years and included JCIL’s name on all three kits (home, away, and third) for the Royals

Kitara Football Club started their StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign this season at home against KCCA FC, Emmanuel Waswa scoring for the Royals as they shared spoils 1-1 with the Kasasiro Boys.
