Ugandan Football Gets A Shot In The Arm With Laryea Kingston’s Appointment.

Laryea Kingston, a Ghanaian coach with UEFA A and CAF B licenses, has been appointed as the head coach of Uganda’s national men’s junior football teams for the next two years.

He will oversee all junior teams, while Brian Ssenyondo will continue to lead the U17 team in the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Kingston’s Background
Kingston brings significant experience to his new role.

He recently worked as the head coach of the Ghanaian U-17 team, known as the Black Starlets, and has also been associated with the Right to Dream Academy, which has produced notable players like Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Additionally, Kingston has held coaching positions at Danish club Nordsjaelland’s U-18 side.
