NCSA FC: The Ambitious New Club Putting Christian Students and Youth Football on the Map.

A new force is quietly building in Kampala’s grassroots football scene. National Christian Students Association Football Club, known as NCSA FC, is a young club with big ambitions. Founded just over a year ago, the team is already making strides in the Nakawa District Football Association setup and has its eyes firmly set on reaching Uganda’s top flight.

The Club at a Glance.

NCSA FC was founded on 15th April 2024 with a clear purpose: to give young Christian students and aspiring players a structured platform to develop their talent. The club currently competes in the Nakawa Sixth Division for the 2025-26 season, with promotion to the Nakawa Fifth Division League as the immediate target.

Club CEO- Martin Mukiibi

The team plays its home matches at Jeph International University in Butabika, formerly known as Cambridge. Off the pitch, the club is led by Acting Chairman Simon Ssenyonga, with Martin Mukiibi serving as CEO and Andrew Sali as head coach. Together, they are building a structure that blends discipline, academics, and competitive football.

Ambition Beyond the Sixth Division

NCSA FC’s long-term vision goes far beyond local league football. In the next five years, the club aims to:

  1. Reach the Uganda Premier League and compete with the country’s best teams.
  2. Become one of Uganda’s most influential clubs, known for both results and values.
  3. Own and develop its own home ground with facilities that meet high-level football standards.
  4. Produce top talent for the national stage and for clubs across Uganda’s borders.

These goals reflect a club that sees football as more than a game. It’s about creating pathways for young players who might otherwise be overlooked.

Why NCSA FC Matters for the Youth?

At its core, NCSA FC is a youth-centered project. By anchoring itself in the Christian student community, the club offers more than training sessions and match days. It provides mentorship, discipline, and an environment where young people can grow as athletes and individuals.

In a football ecosystem where many talented players drop out due to lack of structure or opportunity, NCSA FC is filling a critical gap. The club gives students a reason to stay in school while pursuing their football dreams, showing that academics and sport can go hand in hand.

NCSA FC may be playing in the Nakawa Sixth Division today, but its vision points to the Uganda Premier League and beyond. With clear leadership, a defined identity, and a focus on youth development, the club is positioning itself as more than just another grassroots team.

NCSA FC welcomes everyone, regardless of region or background. The club believes football should unite, not divide, and opens its doors to players and supporters from every part of Uganda and beyond. At NCSA FC, talent and character matter more than where you come from, and the team is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every young player feels at home and has a fair chance to grow.

For young players in Kampala and beyond, NCSA FC represents opportunity, direction, and hope. If the club stays on this path, it won’t just climb the football pyramid — it will raise a generation of players and leaders along with it.
