SEROMA CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL CONTINUES DOMINANCE AT USSSA SWIMMING NATIONALS

For the past three years, Seroma Christian High School Mukono has set unbreakable standards at the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association Swimming Gala.

Seroma Christian wrapped up the 2026 aquatic championships on Saturday, July 26, at its home pool in Mukono with 960 points overall, beating Aga Khan High School, which finished with 904 points.

To replicate their performance from the previous edition, the hosts dominated the girls’ events, totaling 455 points across backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle.

That resounding performance saw Seroma beat Aga Khan by a 48-point margin. The second-placed side managed 407 points in total in the races that decided the overall championship.

In the boys’ category, the championship ended in a draw between Seroma Christian High School Mukono and Aga Khan, with both schools tied on 433 points across the four strokes.

The event featured 186 participants of both genders from 11 schools in the one-day competition. It also determined the 30 swimmers selected to represent the Uganda Schools team at the 2026 FEASSSA Games in Morogoro, Tanzania, later this year.
