Manko Kaweesa Returns To URA FC As Technical Staff Member.

URA FC has strengthened its technical team with the return of former captain Manko Kaweesa, who will support head coach Alex Isabirye.

The return of Manko Kaweesa

Kaweesa, instrumental in the club’s 2010/11 league title win, rejoins the Tax Collectors to focus on fitness and physical conditioning for both senior and junior teams.

Speaking about his return to the club, Kaweesa expressed his delight:

“This club has always been home to me. It feels special to return and contribute in a new capacity. I’m ready to give my all to help the players stay sharp and fit throughout the season.” via URA FC Club Website.

As a player he featured for SC Villa, SC Victoria University, Top TV among others and he also featured for the senior men’s national team Uganda Cranes.

His addition brings valuable experience to the technical bench, which includes

  • Head Coach: Alex Isabirye Musongola
  • First Assistant Coach: Baker Ssenabulya Kasule, who previously worked with Isabirye at Vipers SC
  • Second Assistant Coach: Crespo Asiku
  • Goalkeeping Coach: Damba Jamil.

URA FC aims to improve performance levels across all squads with this revamped technical team, targeting a strong campaign in the upcoming season .
