Lwasa’s Brace Powers Pamba to Victory Over Mashuja

Ugandan forward Peter Lwasa was on fire in the NBC Tanzania Premier League, playing 80 minutes as his side Pamba defeated Mashuja 2-1 at CCM Kirumba Stadium.

Lwasa scored both goals for Pamba, giving his team the lead in the 16th minute and completing his brace in the 65th minute. Baraka Mtuwi had equalized for Mashuja in the 45th minute.

This win earned Pamba three maximum points, and they now sit fourth on the table with five points from four matches.

Lwasa, who is now joint top scorer with Rushine De Rueuk and Paul Peter of JKT Tanzania, both with two goals each, had an impressive performance.

John Ben Nakibinge, a former NEC FC player, was an unused substitute for Pamba. Pamba’s next match is against Dodoma Jiji, led by Disan Galiwango, at Jamhuri Stadium on the 25th of this month.

In their last match, Dodoma Jiji lost 1-0 to Fountain Gate, with Galiwango featuring for the full 90 minutes.

Lwasa’s current form is remarkable, considering his impressive goal-scoring record in the Tanzania Premier League.

He has been in good form, scoring crucial goals for his team, including a decisive brace against Mashuja.

With his consistent performance, Lwasa is likely to continue making a significant impact in the league
