Kitara FC Secures New Sponsorship Deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd After Jonard Conglomerate Declines Renewal

Yesterday, Hon. Eng. Jonard confirmed that Jonard Conglomerate Investments Ltd (JCIL) would not renew its sponsorship contract with Kitara FC. The company had previously sponsored the club with a deal worth 200 million Uganda Shillings for two years, starting from August 2023.

Despite the non-renewal, Hon. Eng. Jonard expressed gratitude to the Kitara FC family and mentioned that they would continue supporting the club in other ways.

New Sponsorship Deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd

Today, Kitara FC unveiled a landmark 100 million Uganda Shillings shirt sponsorship deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd.

The ceremony took place at Kinyara Sugar Ltd’s headquarters in Masindi. According to Kinyara CEO Mr. Ramalingam Ravi, the sponsorship is part of the company’s CSR commitment, aimed at promoting sports and supporting top football clubs in Uganda.

“Under the new agreement, Kinyara Sugar’s logo will feature prominently on the front of Kitara FC’s training and matchday jerseys, giving the company unmatched visibility in the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup,” said Ravi.

Kinyara Sugar Ltd will also enjoy branding rights at all Kitara FC home matches, joint branding at press conferences, and strong fan engagement across the region.

Kitara FC CEO Atugonza Joshua hailed Kinyara’s continued support since the 2023/24 season, which enabled the club to win the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
