The StarTimes Uganda Premier League kicks off tomorrow with six matches at six different venues.
At Royal Park Butema, Kitara FC hosts KCCA FC. Coach Brian Ssenyondo begins his KCCA FC journey away against his former team Kitara FC.

KCCA FC has signed over seven new players, including Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Alpha Ssali, Lazaro Bwambale, and Mugisha Rogers, all from Kitara FC, as well as Charles Lukwago and Achai Herbert, among others.

Despite losing several players, Kitara FC, under Coach Waswa Bbosa, has recruited new talent, including former Express FC captain Emmanuel Waswa, Jimmy Kalema, Amir Kakomo, Lumu Isa, Ssenoga Hussein, Kato Samuel, Musisi Henry, and Wahab Gaddafi, among others.
In their last meeting at the FUFA Super 8, KCCA FC defeated Kitara FC 2-1.

The head-to-head record stands at 6 matches played, with KCCA FC winning 3 and Kitara FC winning 3.
At the FUFA Technical Centre,
Coach Abbey Kikomeko’s BUL Football Club will welcome Coach Alex Isabirye’s URA Football Club.
BUL FC will be boosted by the return of two former players, Tom Ikara and Alex Kitata, who have rejoined the side from Ethiopia.

Other BUL FC signings include Sieri Arigumaho, Lawrence Kambuggu, and Farouk Yawe, among others.
In their recent FUFA Super 8 meeting, URA Football Club edged BUL FC 1-0. URA FC has also signed experienced players like Ronald Otti, Meddie Ssekeba, and Nelson Ssenkatuka, among others.

At Kira Road Police Arena
Police Football Club will play their first-ever game at this venue in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Police FC has signed several new players, including the 2023-24 season MVP Charles Bbaale, Dues Bukenya, Marvin Maviri, Benson Tahomera, Kyeyune Saidi, and Stephen Namaisi, among others.

Police FC is under the stewardship of Matia Lule. Mbarara City FC, under Coach Mugerwa Simon Peter, has been less active in the transfer market.

Lugazi FC hosts new entrants Calvary Midigo FC. Lugazi FC, under co-coaches Steven Bogere and Mugerwa Francis, starts their campaign at home against Calvary.

Lugazi FC has signed new players, including Alfred Leku, Mulindi Ashiraf, Solomon Okwalinga, and David Bagoole, among others.
Lugazi FC has won all five matches against Calvary FC. Calvary FC is under the stewardship of Kintu Jimmy from St. Noa Girls FC.

Entebbe UPPC hosts Buhimba United Saints Football Club.
Both teams have recently earned promotion from the FUFA Big League. Entebbe UPPC, under the stewardship of experienced tactician Abdallah Mubiru, has signed several experienced players, including Julius Poloto, Munguchi Steven, and Mujuzi Mustafa, all from KCCA FC, as well as Hassan Ssenyonjo, Isa Bugembe, Ambrose Kigozi, and Odongo Jonathan, among others.

New faces at Buhimba include Maxwell Owachgiu, Kiyimba Jamil, Erick Muber, Kasaija Davis, Dudu Ramadhan, all from Kitara FC, as well as Fred Nkata and Conrad Ssenjogera, among others.

The two sides have met twice, with one win for Gaddafi FC and one draw.
At Hamz Stadium, seven-time Uganda Premier League champions Express Football Club hosts UPDF FC.
Express FC has been active in the transfer market after losing their captain Emmanuel Waswa and forward Ssenjogera Conrad to Kitara Football Club and Buhimba, respectively.

New faces at Express Football Club include Mikidadi Ssenyonga, Mustafa Kassim, Ali Mwerusi, Peter Onzima, Herbert Assimwe, and Henry Wamala, among others.
The head-to-head record stands at 11 matches played, with Express FC winning 3, UPDF FC winning 3, and 5 draws.
