Hamz Cup Round of 16 Draws Conducted, Action to Kick Off on September 5th

The stage is set for the knockout phase of the Hamz Cup following the successful conclusion of the group stage.
The group phase ended on Tuesday, August 25, producing over 160 goals in 48 matches. The tournament will now resume after the Round of 16 draws, which were held on Thursday, August 27, at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds.
According to the draws, Tororo Boys will face Namutamba/Ndaiga FC, the only village team remaining at this stage, while Arsenal Fans UG FC have been drawn against Born Talent FC Mbuya.

Arsenal Fans UG topped Group G with maximum points and were among the standout performers in the group stage, while Born Talent FC needed a strong comeback in their final group game to progress from Group C.
Other exciting fixtures will see Kafumbe United take on Shan David’s FC, while Mutasa Kafeero face Nurmak Life in what is expected to be one of the highlights of this round.
Elsewhere, Block F will play Union Boda Boda Sports Club, TikTok FC will battle Ngeye Transporters FC, and Best of the Best will face Sanyu D Bags in the final first-leg fixture of the round on September 24.

Winners over the two legs in the Round of 16 will advance to the quarterfinals, where teams are guaranteed 10 million Uganda Shillings, as the journey continues towards the grand prize of 50 million Uganda Shillings.
