FEASSSA 2026 Draws Held Across 11 Categories In 6 Sports Disciplines
Draws for the 26th edition of the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association Games were conducted on Wednesday, August 6, at GNS Plaza, the headquarters of USSSA in Kampala.
With the games set to kick off on August 12 in Morogoro, Tanzania, schools from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi learned their opponents in 11 categories across 6 sports disciplines. The remaining categories will be played on a round-robin format.
The ceremony was graced by Grace Abalo from the Ministry of Education and Sports, FEASSSA General Secretary George Omondi, Treasurer Patrick Ekanya, and USSSA First Vice President Harriet Apolot Magerate. Other members joined virtually.
FEASSSA Organizing Secretary Ayub Khalifa conducted the draws with support from media personnel, coaches, games teachers and school officials. The process began with Netball and was followed by Handball, Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, and concluded with Girls and Boys Football.
