Mawokota, the three-time Masaza Cup champions, have parted ways with coach David Mutono due to a poor run of results in the ongoing Masaza Cup tournament.

Despite a strong start, winning their opening match against Buwekula 2-1 and thrashing Buvuma 3-0, Mawokota managed only two wins in seven matches, securing 9 points and sitting third in the Masengere group
