Okello, Kutumela and Lamlaoui Lead The Pack : CHAN’s Top Goal Scorers .

Allan Okello is indeed on fire in the CHAN Tournament, currently tied as the top scorer with three goals.

Uganda . Guinea: Okello scored a penalty in the 62nd minute after being fouled in the box, doubling Uganda’s lead to 2-0. Reagan Mpande had earlier scored in the 35th minute, and Ivan Ahimbisibwe sealed the win with a third goal in the 90th minute.

Uganda Vs Niger : Okello scored a rebound penalty after Reagan Mpande was fouled in the box, and Joel Sserunjogi added a second goal assisted by Okello.

Uganda Vs South Africa: Okello scored a spot kick in the 88th minute after Ivan Ahimbisibwe was fouled, securing a comeback win for Uganda and a spot in the quarterfinals.

Okello’s impressive form has attracted interest from foreign clubs, including Tanzania Premier League giants Simba SC.

He’ll look to extend his tally in the quarterfinals.

Two other players, 32-year-old Thabiso Kutumela from South Africa and a 29-year-old Moroccan forward, are also tied with Okello on three goals each. While Kutumela’s side was eliminated, the Moroccan player will play against Tanzania in the quarterfinals
