Buweekula Breaks The Jinx Wins First Masaza Cup.

In a thrilling finale to the 2025 Masaza Cup, Buweekula Ssaza FC emerged champions, defeating Ssingo Ssaza FC 1-0. Alex Taremwa’s solitary goal was enough to secure the title for Buweekula, marking their first-ever Masaza Cup triumph.

Buweekula’s Historic Win

The victory brings an end to Buweekula’s wait, having lost two previous finals in 2012 and 2022. Coach Felix Ssekabuzza made history as the first-ever coach to lift the Masaza Cup title for Buweekula.

Notably, Ssekabuzza had a disappointing outing last year, losing in the semifinals to Kyagwe.
