The match marked the second outing for coach Kintu Jimmy Mwera in charge of Express FC, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite go as planned for the hosts.
The visitors took the lead through attacking midfielder Enock Ssebagala, who capitalized on a defensive mix-up between goalkeeper Ali Mwerusi and midfielder Kawooya Ramsey inside the penalty area.

Ssebagala’s timely intervention saw him tuck the ball away, giving Vipers SC the early advantage. The first half was a tale of Vipers’ dominance, with Express FC struggling to cope with the visitors’ attacking pressure.
The second half saw Vipers SC continue to push, and they doubled their lead in the 65th minute through a well-worked move involving winger Arafat Usma and Allan Okello, who finished clinically. Four minutes later, Okello released Isaac Ogwang, who scored the third goal for Vipers SC, sealing the win for the visitors.
