The Uganda Cranes are set to compete in Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, alongside Tunisia, Tanzania, and Nigeria.

Below are the Fixtures, Venues and dates
December 23:Tunisia vs. Uganda at Prince Moulay Abdellah Olympic Annex Stadium
Tunisia, the 2004 AFCON champion, will pose a significant challenge to Uganda.
December 27: Uganda vs. Tanzania at Al Barid Stadium
This East African derby is crucial for Uganda to gain points and boost their chances of advancing to the knockout stage.
December 30: Uganda vs. Nigeria at Fez Stadium
Nigeria, a three-time AFCON winner, will test Uganda’s defensive solidity and overall team strength.
Uganda’s campaign in AFCON 2025 will be their eighth appearance, with their best finish being runners-up in 1978.
They’ve had notable wins against Nigeria and Ghana in the past. In recent years, Uganda reached the round of 16 in the 2019 AFCON but lost to Senegal and Egypt
To progress to the knockout stage, Uganda needs to accumulate at least four points from their group matches, which could be achieved through a combination of wins, draws, and losses depending on the goal difference and results in other groups
