Three Uganda Premier League clubs are racing to sign Young Elephants Academy FC midfielder Francis Mukasa following a standout season in the FUFA Big League.
Newly promoted sides Ntugasaze FC and Blacks Power FC are among the clubs pushing for Mukasa’s signature, with Entebbe UPPC Football Club also in the hunt for the 29-match midfielder. All three are looking to strengthen ahead of the 2026/27 UPL campaign.
Mukasa featured in 29 matches last season, contributing 5 goals and 7 assists from midfield. His creativity, range of passing, and work rate made him one of Young Elephants’ key players as they competed in the Big League.

The midfielder’s reputation extends beyond the Big League. Mukasa has played in the prestigious Masaza Cup for Bugerere, Butambala, and Kyagwe, gaining experience in high-pressure county football. He has also had stints abroad and in the lower tiers with Coastal Stima in Kenya and Kataka FC in Uganda.
