Attacking midfielder Hassan Mubiru has bid farewell to SC Villa after sealing a move to Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC.
Mubiru ends his stint with the Jogoos after a period that saw him grow into a key player and fan favorite at the 17-time league champions.
In an emotional goodbye message, Mubiru thanked the club, its fans, and everyone who supported him during his time at the club
“As I say goodbye to this amazing club, SPORTS CLUB VILLA I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of my journey. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and giving me the opportunity to grow both an athlete and as a person.
The memories we’ve created, the victories we’ve celebrated, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the friendships we’ve built will always have a special place in my heart. This club has shaped me in so many ways, and I’ll always be proud to have worn its colors.
Though it’s time for me to begin a new chapter, I leave with nothing but respect, appreciation, and love for everyone associated with the club. I wish the team continued success and many more achievements in the future.
