Ochoa retires after a remarkable 22-year professional career. It began at Club América in 2004 and took him across Europe to France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Cyprus, before returning to Mexico.
He became one of the most recognizable goalkeepers in world football thanks to his spectacular performances on the World Cup stage.
For El Tri, Ochoa earned 154 caps and featured in six FIFA World Cups — a record that cements him as one of the most accomplished Mexican players in history. His unforgettable saves, leadership, and longevity made him an icon for generations of Mexican fans.
