SC Villa Announce Signing of Steven “Pivot” Mugisha

SC Villa have secured the signature of Steven “Pivot” Mugisha ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 2006-born midfielder joins the Jogoos on a four-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Mugisha arrives from Bulemeezi Ssaza, where he captained the side in the Buganda Masaza Cup. Known for his leadership, defensive resilience and composure on the ball, the former Kira United man is expected to add steel and organization to Villa’s backline.
His aerial presence and ability to dictate play have earned him a reputation as one of the country’s most promising defensive talents.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Mugisha said the move was a dream come true:
