My Journey As A CHAN Media Volunteer: Insights For NEC FC’s CAF Confederations Cup Campaign.

Raymond Kayungirizi, NEC FC’s Communications Officer, shared his experience as a CHAN media volunteer, highlighting valuable insights for enhancing media operations at NEC FC and the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

With a background in football communications, including founding Matchday Ticketing.com at Leero Sports and serving as a volunteering media manager at CATDA FC, Raymond brought a wealth of knowledge to his CHAN volunteering role.

According to Raymond, his journey began with an interview with the Local Organizing Community (LOC) Volunteer’s Workforce, where he discussed his background in football communications. He then participated in briefings and training, which fostered camaraderie among volunteers.

  3. Field of Play: Supporting photographers at all four corners of the pitch.
  4. Press Conference Room: Facilitating pre- and post-match press conferences.
