Mr and Miss Central Bodybuilding Championship Set for This Saturday
With just hours to go to the 2026 Mr and Miss Central Championship, scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at Sharing Hall, Nsambya, preparations have been stepped up, with weighing on the radar.
During a press conference held at Yes Centre in Nsambya on Thursday, November 5, participants, including reigning Mr Kampala Hussein Mbajja ‘Finito’, promised an outstanding display.
Finito also announced his intention to go beyond and defend the trophy he won last year at UMA Show Ground.
“I am back to defend my trophy. I have overcome a challenging injury, and whoever wants this trophy has to wait a bit because I am still going,” he said.
Challenger Abdul Musana noted: “Last year was just a feel of the stage since it was my first time. This year I am coming to win, and not only at Central region, but I am also aiming to win the Mr Uganda National Championship and as well make it to the international level.”
Hundreds of participants of both genders will compete in different weights and categories, including the fitness championship, with the aim of finding the overall winners in the Mr and Miss Championship.
With the championship already held in all other regions, the winners for Mr and Miss Central will join winners from other regions at Mr and Miss Uganda 2026, on dates yet to be announced.
The event, organised by Suplex Gym in Bweyogerere, is sponsored by Ramos Sports Centre, A and S Gym, and Fitness Park Namasuba.
