Kitara FC to Host Mogadishu City in Hoima As Confederation Cup Tickets Go On Sale

Kitara FC can confirm that both legs of their 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round tie against Somalia’s Mogadishu City FC will be played at Hoima City Stadium.
Following the draw, Mogadishu City were handed home advantage for the first leg. However, with Somalia currently lacking a CAF-approved stadium, they have confirmed the fixture will be hosted at Hoima City Stadium in Uganda — the same ground Kitara registered as their official home for this season’s campaign.
The first leg is set for Saturday, 5th September 2026, kicking off at 4:00pm. The return leg will also be in Hoima a week later, on Saturday, 12th September 2026, at 4:00pm. The winner on aggregate advances to face Egypt’s Al Ahly FC in the second preliminary round.
Meanwhile, tickets for both matches go on sale from Monday, 17th August 2026. Fans can purchase online, in person at the Kitara FC offices in Hoima town and Kinubi, or through the club’s branded mobile ticketing van.
Ordinary tickets are priced at UGX 20,000, while VIP tickets go for UGX 50,000.
