FUFA Super Cup Match Officials Revealed
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the match officials for the 2026 FUFA Super Cup between Kitara FC and Vipers SC.
The highly anticipated clash between the Uganda Cup champions and the Uganda Premier League champions is slated for tomorrow, Saturday, at 7 p.m. at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
FIFA-certified referee Kasalirwe Lucky Razak has been given the mantle to lead the officiating team for the curtain-raiser of the new season.
Kasalirwe, one of Uganda’s most experienced and highly-rated referees, has handled several high-stakes matches on the local scene, including league deciders and Stanbic Uganda Cup finals, and also boasts continental experience in CAF inter-club and international competitions. He is expected to bring composure, authority and strict enforcement of the Laws of the Game to what promises to be a tense encounter.
He will be assisted by two FIFA Assistant Referees. Mulindwa Hakim has been appointed as the First Assistant Referee, while Emmanuel Okudra will serve as the Second Assistant Referee.
Both Mulindwa and Okudra are seasoned officials on the FIFA panel. As per their duties, they will be responsible for indicating when the whole ball leaves the field of play, deciding which team is entitled to a corner kick, goal kick or throw-in, judging offside situations, and supporting the center referee on fouls and incidents within their closer view.
Dick Okello has been named as the Fourth Official. Okello, also a FIFA referee, will be in charge of managing the technical areas, overseeing substitutions, controlling added time display, and acting as the intermediary between the technical benches and the center referee.
With two of Uganda’s finest domestic sides clashing with new signings and a trophy at stake, FUFA’s appointment of an all-FIFA officiating team underlines the importance of the Supe Cup. The federation will be hoping for a fair, well-controlled game that sets the standard for officiating in the upcoming 2026/27 season.
