The result takes Ntugasaze to 50 points from 29 matches, keeping them third on the table. This results means Ntugasaze have earned promotion to the Startimes Uganda Premier league.

Kataka FC also stayed in the hunt with a professional 2-0 win over Kigezi HomeBoyz at Mbale Stadium. Goals from Isaac Owiny and Ismail Tamubula lifted Kataka to fourth with 48 points.

With only one matchday remaining, the promotion race is down to two teams: Paidha, and Kataka, all vying for the one remaining slot. In the relegation zone, the fight is equally tight, with Kaaro Karungi, Wakiso Giants, Soltilo Bright Stars, Nebbi Central, and Catda FC all still in the mix.

Matchday 30 promises a dramatic finale as clubs fight for survival and a place in next season’s Uganda Premier League.
