Former Uganda Cranes Captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi has completed his move to Rwanda Police FC.

Okwi has signed a one-year employment contract with the Rwanda Primus National League side.
Emmanuel Okwi last season was nominated for the player of the season Award (MVP) . He netted nine goals with 3 assists for As Kigali.
Okwi has previously played for Kiyovu Sports Club during the 2021/22 season and has also played for other clubs like Simba SC, Young Africans, Etoile Du Sahel, SonderjyskE, Al Ittihad Alexandria, and Al-Zawraa Sports Club.

Before joining Rwanda Police FC, Okwi had other suitors like Musanze FC (Rwanda), Kagera Sugar (Tanzania), and Tusker (Kenya), but he chose Rwanda Police FC
Okwi has had an impressive career, scoring 28 goals in 95 caps for Uganda, including two strikes at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Last season Rwanda Police FC finished 4th on the table with 45 points after 30 rounds.
He’s known for his technical skills and speed as a left winger .
