Ssempigi Lands New Coaching Job In FUFA Big League

Former Lugazi Football Club head coach Saddick Ssempigi has joined FUFA Big League side Kigezi HomeBoyz Football Club as their new head coach on a one-year employment contract.

Ssempigi replaces Stephen Pritchard who was sacked amidst the end of last season.

Ssempigi handled Startimes Uganda Premier league side Lugazi FC before being sacked due to poor run of results.

Ssempigi had a coaching stint at Onduparaka FC, Arua Hill SC, Mbarara City, Jinja North among others.

Ssempigi currently works as an assistant coach at Bugerere Ssaza Football Club at the ongoing prestigious Masaza Cup and last year he was the assistant coach of Buweekula.

Kigezi HomeBoyz FC has lost key players in this transfer window like Seremba Joseph and Waibi Charles both joined NEC FC , Kemis Rwothomio and Egaku Allan both their contracts expired.

Last season Kigezi HomeBoyz FC struggled in their FUFA Big League as they served relegated on the last day as they defeated Paidha Black Angels SC.

Ssempigi’s task will be to guide Kigezi HomeBoyz FC to safely and potentially push for promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

With his experience and tactical aucemen, fans are hopeful he can turn the team’s fortunes around.
