Jodana Sports Management has scored a major breakthrough in international sports broadcasting, reaching an estimated 22 million viewers across Egypt and the Middle East after securing and selling television rights for the CAF Confederation Cup clash between Rwanda’s APR FC and Egypt’s Zamalek SC.

Jodana CEO Dan Ntale said the rights were sold to Egypt’s On Sport channel for the match played at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, October 16.

“We sold the rights to On Sport Channel and the viewership in Egypt was 19 million and three million in the Middle East. It’s a good start for us, and we believe we can expand beyond that level,” Ntale said.

The deal marks an encouraging start to Jodana’s partnership with Rotterdam based NON-STOP4U Marketing Agency, which aims to expand the international reach of African football through broadcasting, marketing and distribution.

Their next assignment will be the inaugural BASRA International Friendly Tournament 2026, for which they have secured broadcasting and distribution rights. The tournament is expected to reach audiences in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine.

Zamalek won the first leg 1–0, with APR facing a challenging return leg in Cairo on October 24.

The partnership hopes to build on this early success to open new international markets and create greater commercial opportunities for African clubs and players.
