Kigezi HomeBoyz FC Sign Striker Ssenjogera Conrad Ahead Of UPL Debut

Kigezi HomeBoyz FC have completed the signing of striker Ssenjogera Conrad on a two-year contract.

The 21-year-old Ugandan forward joins The Gorillas from Express FC, and adds more firepower to the squad ahead of the club’s historic first season in the Uganda Premier League.

Conrad arrives with experience across different levels of Ugandan football. He has previously featured for Buhimba United Saints and Karuguza United, before a stint with Express FC in the top flight. His pace, work rate and eye for goal are expected to give HomeBoyz more attacking options as they prepare for life in the UPL.

The striker said he is excited to start a new chapter with the Kabale-based side and is ready to repay the faith shown in him.

“I’m happy to join such a club. I’m ready to work hard. I promise the fans the best,” Conrad said.

Conrad becomes the latest addition to a growing squad as Kigezi HomeBoyz continue to strengthen ahead of their maiden Uganda Premier League campaign. The club, founded in 2011, will make its top-flight debut on 29th August 2026 with an away trip to Lugazi FC at Lugazi FC Stadium in Najembe.

Kigezi HomeBoyz FC have also recently announced the signings of 16-year-old Osman Mayanja and midfielder Norman Angufindru, as well as unveiling new kits for the 2026/27 season.
