Kigezi HomeBoyz Land Experienced Keeper Norman Angufindru Ahead Of UPL Debut
Kigezi HomeBoyz FC have signed goalkeeper Norman Angufindru on a two-year deal ahead of their historic debut season in the Uganda Premier League.
The 30-year-old joins the Gorillas after leaving SC Villa, where his contract expired in June.
Angufindru brings vast UPL experience to the newly promoted side. He has previously played for Ovujo United, Mvara Boys, IUIU, Calvary FC, Onduparaka FC, and SC Villa.
Known for his commanding presence, aerial ability and shot-stopping, he arrives with major honours including a Uganda Premier League title and FUFA Super 8 with Villa, plus a FUFA Drum title with West Nile Province.

“I am excited to join the Gorillas family and I am looking forward to working together with everyone at the club. My goal is to help the team achieve success, give my all every day, and repay the confidence the club has shown in me,” Angufindru said.
The signing is the latest in Kigezi HomeBoyz’s recruitment drive as they prepare for life among Uganda’s elite. Benjamin Gakumba was earlier announced as the club’s first signing.
