Kevin Kyeyune Joins Ntugasaze FC on Two-Year Deal

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Ntugasaze FC have landed striker Kevin Kyeyune on a two-year deal as they add firepower ahead of their debut top-flight campaign.

The Brewers moved quickly to secure the forward after his standout season with FUFA Big League side CATDA Football Club. Kyeyune scored over 11 league goals last term and played a key role in helping CATDA survive relegation. Standing at 6ft+, he brings a physical presence, aerial threat, and intelligent movement on and off the ball that made him one of the Big League’s most consistent strikers.

Ntugasaze will be looking to strengthen an attack that already features the likes of Jimmy Ndalambi who netted 15 goals for Kiyinda Boys FC. He is strong in the air, holds play up well, and is dangerous from crosses and set-pieces — qualities that should help the Brewers adapt to UPL defenses.

The striker is no stranger to promotion fights. He was part of the NEC FC squad that climbed from the Kampala Region League to the FUFA Big League, and stayed with the club as they secured back-to-back promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League under Mike ‘Skills’ Lukyamuzi. Once NEC reached the UPL, however, minutes were scarce with Brian Kayanja and Cromwell Rwothomio ahead of him, and he eventually moved on.

He also had a spell with Wakiso Giants FC in the top flight.

For Ntugasaze, signing a proven Big League scorer with UPL experience is a statement of intent. With Kyeyune now in on a two-year deal, the Brewers have added a key piece to their first UPL squad.
