Transfers :Catda Lands Mutungo FC Utility Player
FUFA Big League side Catda Football Club have completed the signing of utility player Kwoyelo Pius from Mutungo Football Club ahead of the new season.
Kwoyelo was a key figure for Kampala Region League side Mutungo FC during the new league format. He played an instrumental role as the club competed in the Championship group and established himself as one of the most versatile players in the division.
The new Catda recruit is known for his flexibility across the pitch. Kwoyelo is capable of playing in midfield, as a central defender, and at right back. That versatility is expected to give Coach Luyima Richard more options as Catda look to build a stronger squad for the upcoming FUFA Big League campaign.
Based in Bugolobi, Catda endured a difficult 2025/26 season but managed to secure their Big League status in dramatic fashion. A 1-0 victory over Kigezi HomeBoyz Football Club on the final day confirmed their survival and ensured they will remain in the second tier.
The club will now be hoping that the addition of Kwoyelo Pius can add both depth and experience as they aim to push further up the table under the stewardship of Coach Luyima Richard.
