Following the conclusion of the Uganda football transfer market, Bumusuuta FC has confirmed its final list as they gear up for the new season.
Their squad after the primary transfer market consists of 21 players, including 3 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 4 central midfielders, and 6 forwards (including central and wide players).
The team retained key figures from last season, with captain Joram Kalyesubula, Denis Muwayire, Lamech Sserwanga, Daniel Kamanda, Samuel Kuteesa, Joseph Kanaabi, and Hamid Kato all remaining at the club.
Regarding new recruits, goalkeeper Enock Nsumba moved in from Luweero United, and Brian Henry Katamba returned to the Kiboga area after departing from Buikwe Redstars, where he had been since 2022.
After business concluded, the team now awaits action as they aim to fight for promotion to the third division within the Buganda Region.
In the last campaign, Bumusuuta FC finished as a mid-table team after overcoming a slow start. Joram Kalyesubula led the campaign’s revival with 14 goals, while Hamid Kato and Daniel Kamanda also grabbed crucial goals during the season.
