A hendectet of Ugandan Match officials appointed for CAF Competitions

The Confederation of African Football CAF has appointed eleven different Ugandan match officials for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup & Champions League preliminary round.

Kasalirwe Lucky Razake who was incharge of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match between Mauritania and Togo last week, again Kasalirwe has been appointed to oversee the match between FC 15 de Agosto de Akonibe from Equatorial Guinea and Forester FC from Seychelles.

Katenya Ronald and Kateregga Ashiraf have been appointed as the first and second assistant referees respectively.

Ring Nyier Akech Malong from South Sudan will serve as the fourth official.

The match will take place on the 21st of September 2025 at Estadio De Ebebiyin .

Engineer Wilberforce Oloya has been assigned as the referee for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League preliminary round match between the Champions of Ethiopian Premier League Ethiopian Insurance and Zanzibar side Mlandege SC at Abebe Bikila Stadium.

Wilberforce Oloya will be assisted by Hakim Mulindwa from Kampala Region and Magoola Ashiraf as the assistant referee respectively.

New FIFA assistant referee from Eastern Magoola Ashiraf will make his continental debut .

Another New FIFA referee Duula Joshua will also make his continental debut in this particular encounter and he will serve as the fourth official .

Duula Joshua is from Eastern Region.

Dick Okello has been designated as the referee for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup match between El Merriekh SC Bentiu from South Sudan against Tanzania side Azam FC.

The match will be played on the 20th next week at Juba National Stadium.

It should be recalled that Dick Okello was an assistant referee and he officiated the CAF Champions League finals between Al Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs in 2021- 17th- July at the Complexe Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.

Although selected for CHAN 2021 Okello missed the finals in Cameroon due to vaccination requirements related to his religious beliefs.

Okello will be assisted by Emmanuel Okudra and Musisi Branson as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
