Uganda Cranes Right Back Rejoins Iceland Top Tier Side

Uganda Cranes right Elvis Bwomono has completed his move to Icelandic top tier side IBV from Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.
The 27 year old started his career at Southend United before moving to Icelandic outfit in May 2022 where he made 48 appearances.
Bwomono has spent two seasons at St Mirren where he has played a total of 38 matches contributing just two assists .
His first stint at IBV he played 44 matches in two seasons contributing one assist.
Elvis Bwomono made his for the national team Uganda Cranes in November 2020 against South Sudan at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende , the match ended 1-0 in favour of Uganda.
IBV Vestmannaeyjar competes in the Icelandic top tier league with three Icelandic championship ( 1979, 1997 & 1998) , 5 Icelandic Cups ( 1968, 1972, 1981, 1998,2017 ) and Icelandic League Cup in 1997.
