Kitara FC has introduced physical ticket sales alongside its online platform for the highly anticipated CAF Confederation Cup clash against Egyptian giants Al Ahly at Hoima City Stadium on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The club announced the change through its official X account on Thursday, giving supporters another option to secure their seats ahead of what is expected to be one of the biggest matches in Kitara’s history.

Kitara president Deo Kasozi described the encounter as a landmark fixture for the club, urging supporters to turn up in large numbers. “This is the biggest game in the club’s history, and we want to fill the stadium,” Kasozi said.

Under the revised arrangement, physical tickets will be available exclusively for ordinary seating, while supporters seeking VIP access will have to purchase their tickets online.

Ordinary tickets are priced at UGX 20,000, while VIP tickets cost UGX 100,000.

Kitara management confirmed that physical ordinary tickets would go on sale from Friday, October 9, at two designated outlets in Hoima.

The outlets are the club’s office on Hoima Main Street, opposite Stanbic Bank, and its Kinuubi office, opposite St Patrick Primary School.

The move offers local supporters an alternative to online purchasing as the Royals prepare to welcome one of Africa’s most decorated football clubs to western Uganda.

Kitara are counting on strong home support to inspire the team against Al Ahly, who travel to Hoima for the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup encounter.

The Egyptian side is scheduled to arrive in Uganda ahead of the October 17 fixture, with the return leg to be played in Egypt.

The Royals booked their place in this stage after overcoming Somalia’s Mogadishu City Council in the previous round, raising expectations among their supporters as they pursue a historic run in continental football.

With ordinary tickets available through both physical and online channels, Kitara will hope the revised arrangement helps more fans secure entry and boosts attendance at Hoima City Stadium.

Supporters intending to purchase physical tickets have been advised to visit the two designated offices, while those seeking VIP tickets must use the online platform.

For Kitara, the challenge now is to turn the excitement surrounding Al Ahly’s visit into a packed stadium and a memorable night for the Royals and their fans.
