Jodana Sports Management and Netherlands-based sports marketing agency NON-STOP4U have secured the broadcasting and advertising rights for the CAF Champions League preliminary-round showdown between Rwanda’s APR FC and Egyptian giants Zamalek SC.

The agreement, signed Tuesday in Kigali, marks a significant commercial step for the two companies as they seek to expand their footprint in African sports broadcasting and marketing.

The deal was reached with APR FC and the Rwanda Broadcasting Corporation (RBA) ahead of the highly anticipated clash, scheduled for October 16, 2026, at Amahoro Stadium.

Under the agreement, RBA will produce the match, while Jodana Sports Management and NON-STOP4U will take charge of the broadcasting and advertising rights.

APR FC was represented at the signing by Team Manager Maj Kavuna Erias, while RBA was represented by Senior Sales Officer Ruth Nishimwe.

Speaking after the agreement, Jodana Sports Management representative Daniel Ntale described the deal as an important milestone in the company’s expansion into sports broadcasting and commercial rights.

“Jodana has entered into a partnership with NON-STOP4U, a sports marketing agency based in the Netherlands,” Ntale said.

“It is another business venture that Jodana Sports Management is entering into, and together with our partner, we have secured the broadcasting and advertising rights for the APR versus Zamalek match.”

The partnership is targeting a market beyond Rwanda, with the APR-Zamalek encounter expected to be broadcast to audiences in Rwanda, Egypt and the Middle East.

That reach could significantly increase the commercial value of the fixture by connecting the two clubs with viewers and potential sponsors outside the stadium and beyond their domestic markets.

For Jodana, however, the agreement is being viewed as more than a one-off deal.

Ntale revealed that Rwanda is only the starting point, with the partners already exploring opportunities with clubs in other parts of Africa.

“It is not going to be only Rwanda. We are going to work with other African countries, and we are in talks with other clubs in West and Central Africa,” he added.

NON-STOP4U, based in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, specialises in sports marketing, recreation, public relations and entertainment, bringing an international commercial dimension to the partnership.

The deal also fits into Ntale’s wider involvement in football, particularly player representation. He believes the expansion into sports marketing and broadcasting could open additional commercial opportunities for African players and clubs.

The APR-Zamalek fixture therefore carries significance beyond the pitch. While both teams will be focused on securing progress in the continent’s premier club competition, the match will also serve as a platform for Jodana Sports Management and NON-STOP4U to demonstrate their ability to package and commercialise African football for wider international audiences.

With RBA handling production and the two partners controlling the broadcasting and advertising rights, the October 16 encounter could provide a blueprint for future cross-border sports media partnerships across Africa.
