Experienced Referees Appointed for Masaza Cup Final
The match officials for the highly anticipated Masaza Cup final between Buweekula and Ssingo have been announced. Referee Stephen Kimayo Masaya will lead the officiating team, bringing his wealth of experience to the big game.

Kimayo, a national referee from the Kampala Region, has been officiating Masaza Cup matches since 2018, including several semi-finals and the 2022 third-place playoff between Bulemeezi and Mawokota.

With over eight years of experience in the Masaza Cup, Kimayo has established himself as one of the most respected referees in the competition.

Assistant Referees Bring Experience
Joining Kimayo on the officiating team are two seasoned assistant referees. Zziwa Charles Edward, the first assistant referee from the Buganda Region, brings over a decade of experience in officiating Masaza Cup matches.

Lubwama Ivan, the second assistant referee from the Kampala Region, is a FUFA Elite Assistant Referee with over seven years of experience in the Masaza Cup.

Consistency and ExpertiseLubwama Ivan, on the other hand, has carved out a niche for himself in Uganda’s top-tier league with five years of experience.
Since attaining his National Badge in 2019, Ivan has shown remarkable growth and dedication to his craft, consistently delivering high-quality officiating in the league.
