Tunisian Giants CS Sfaxien Unveil Ugandan Attacking Midfielder .

Tunisian Ligue 1 Professionnelle side CS Sfaxien have announced the signing of Ugandan attacking midfielder Hakim Mutebi from Bosnia and Herzegovina club BSK Banja Luka.
Mutebi will reunite with fellow Ugandan Travis Mutyaba at the historic club. Mutebi arrives with European experience and a reputation for creativity, and he is expected to add more dynamism to CS Sfaxien’s attack as they prepare for domestic football and the CAF Confederation Cup this season. The Black and White finished third on the table last season but will be looking to challenge on multiple fronts.
Mutebi a former student at St. Mary’s Kitende before he rose to prominence with Uganda’s U18 team, helping them win the 2023 CECAFA U18 Boys Championship in Kenya. He was also part of the Uganda U23 squad that won a silver medal in football at the All Africa Games in Ghana. Prior to his move abroad, he also featured for 17-time Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa. He is known for his pace, dribbling, vision and footballing brain, qualities that make him a modern attacking midfielder.
The move marks another milestone for Ugandan football, with more players making their mark in North Africa. Playing for a club of CS Sfaxien’s stature, alongside Mutyaba and in continental competition, gives Mutebi the ideal platform to grow. If he adapts quickly, Ugandan fans can expect him to shine in Tunisia and represent the country well on the African stage
