Express FC Appoints Becky Cynthia Nakimera as New CEO
Express Football Club has announced the appointment of Becky Cynthia Nakimera as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Ms. Nakimera joins the 1957-founded club with a clear vision focused on growth, transformation, and long-term sustainability. The Board says her appointment marks a major milestone as Express FC looks to strengthen its institutional capacity, improve operational efficiency, and secure a stable future for one of Uganda’s most historic football institutions.
Her Mandate
As CEO, Ms. Nakimera will lead the implementation of the Club’s strategic objectives. Key focus areas include:
- Strengthening corporate governance
- Expanding commercial opportunities
- Deepening engagement with stakeholders and fans
- Empowering technical and administrative teams
- Fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and excellence
