Brazil Thrash Scotland 3-0 To Go Top Of Group C With 7 Points
Brazil took a huge step toward the knockout stage with a commanding 3-0 win over Scotland at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The result puts the five-time champions top of Group C on 7 points, while Scotland’s qualification hopes took a major hit.
Vinícius Júnior stole the show. He punished a Scotland defensive error in the 7th minute to give Brazil an early lead. He thought he had doubled it minutes later, but the goal was ruled out for a foul on a Scotland defender.
The Real Madrid star made sure soon after. A pinpoint cross from Bruno Guimarães found Vinícius at the far post and he nodded home to make it 2-0. Guimarães turned provider again in the 58th minute, threading a beautiful pass for Cunha to extend Brazil’s lead and seal the win.
