The Kampala Region League resumed over the weekend with match day seven, featuring thrilling encounters and unexpected results.

Born Talent FC Defends with a Win

At Kyambogo College playground, Born Talent FC bounced back from two losses to defeat Mbogo UTD FC 2-0.

Steven Kirya gave Born Talent FC the lead in the 9th minute, while Geoffrey Isoloza sealed their victory 10 minutes to stoppage time.

Mbogo UTD FC were reduced to 10 men as Sula Ssekamwa was sent off in the 79th minute.

Buganda Road FC Claims Victory

At Kanyanya Express playground, Buganda Road FC defeated Kisugu United FC 3-2. Joseph Nyombi gave Buganda Road FC the lead in the second minute, and Moses Ayimobua doubled their lead in the 18th minute.

Stanley Lubega pulled one back for Kisugu UTD FC in the 47th minute, and Bryan Matu Tumusiime equalized for Kisugu UTD FC a minute later.

However, Moses Ayikobua scored the winning goal for Buganda Road FC in the 66th minute.

The debut match for coach Abdul Mayimba ended in a loss and Kisugu United FC have now lost three matches in a row .

Water FC Registers First Win

Water FC registered their first win of the campaign, defeating Edgars FC 2-1. Ramal Mugisha scored a brace for Water FC in the 33rd and 86th minutes, despite Kennedy Muserero’s equalizing goal for Edgars FC in the 44th minute.

This was Edgars FC’s first loss this season under Coach Sharifa Nantumbwe.

Police Young FC Thumps Lungujja Galaxy

At IUIU Kabojja playground, Police Young FC hammered Lungujja Galaxy FC 5-2.

Commas Osuna netted a hat-trick for Police Young FC, while Peter Ouma scored one goal while Soul Kiddawalime scored in his own net . Shadrah Kaliiki and Shafic Kaweesi scored for Lungujja Galaxy FC.

Mutungo FC Wins

Mutungo FC claimed a 2-1 victory over Wembley Boys FC at East High Ntinda Playground. Edule Deogratious and Tumuhimbise Innocent scored for Mutungo FC, while Nsubuga Hamidu scored for Wembley Boys FC.

Ntinda United FC Wins Big

Ntinda United FC thumped Black Stars FC 5-2 at Kisasi Highland School, registering their second victory in this campaign.

PCCP FC Wins Makindye Derby

PCCP FC defeated Lukuli Hearts FC 2-1 in the Makindye Derby, securing a crucial win in their campaign.
