Ntugasaze Records Second Win, Kiyinda Claims First Victory
Ntugasaze FC recorded their second victory as Kiyinda Boys also recorded their first win. The FUFA Big League commenced today with a number of matches at different venues.
At Mityana Ssaza Ground, Ntugasaze FC registered a commanding 3-0 victory over Mbale Heroes FC.
Double-licensed pacy winger James Jarieko scored in the 32nd minute to give Ntugasaze the lead. Four minutes after the restart of the second half, Badru Jibril Nsimbe doubled their lead.
In the 67th minute, Jarieko completed his brace, making the scoreline 3-0 in favour of Ntugasaze FC.
Ntugasaze FC has now recorded their second victory of the campaign, propelling them to third position with 10 points after seven rounds.
At Bertham City Recreational Ground, Kiyinda Boys FC finally registered their first FUFA Big League win after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Young Elephants FC.

Kimera Michael gave Kiyinda Boys FC an early lead in the 5th minute, and just eight minutes later, prolific forward Isaac Gumperom levelled matters for Young Elephants FC with a well-taken shot that beat goalkeeper Hafizi in the far corner, taking his tally to six goals this season in the FUFA Big League.
Five minutes later, Jimmy Ndalambi reclaimed Kiyinda Boys FC’s lead.
After a violent conduct incident involving Hussein Matovu, Isaac Gumperom, the Young Elephants FC forward, was shown a red card in the 89th minute .
This win was Kiyinda Boys FC’s first win this season.
Kiyinda Boys FC is now under the stewardship of Coach Ayub Kizza, who is on an interim basis after the sacking of coach James Cemari.
At Luzira Prisons Playground, Solitilo Bright shared spoils 0-0 with Kigezi HomeBoyz FC.
Ssempigi Saddick’s side, Kigezi HomeBoyz FC, remains unbeaten despite results being dominated by six draws after seven rounds.
At Hamz Stadium Nakivubo, Pius Wangi scored the only goal for Wakiso Giants FC as they defeated Paidha Black Angels SC 1-0.

After today’s win, Wakiso Giants FC now sits second on the table with 14 points after seven matches.
Kaaro Karungi shared spoils 1-1 with Nebbi Central. Walter Rubangakene scored for the hosts Kaaro Karungi, while Fred Wasayo scored for Nebbi Central.
At Mbale Stadium, Kataka FC shared spoils 1-1 with Blacks Power FC.
Abdul Kabale scored for Kataka FC in the 24th minute, while Captain Isaac Okello levelled matters for Blacks Power FC 10 minutes later.
After today’s results, Blacks Power FC remains on top of the table with 15 points after 8 rounds, while Kataka FC sits 4th on board with 10 points.
At Nyamambuka Play Ground, the match between Bunyaruguru and Onduparaka wasn’t played due to a kit clash.
