FUFA Big League Commenced Today with Eight Matches at Different Venues
The FUFA Big League commenced today with eight matches played across different venues. At Luzira Prisons Playground, Solitilo Bright Stars FC defeated Onduparaka FC 2-0. Safi Mansoor gave Solitilo Bright Stars FC the lead in the 24th minute, while Sharif Nsereko scored their second goal, sealing their victory in the 62nd minute.
At Mityana Ssaza Ground, Ntugasaze FC shared the spoils with Catda FC in a 0-0 draw. At Hamza Stadium, Nakivubo, Wakiso Giants FC were held to a 0-0 draw by Blacks Power FC. Blacks Power FC remains at the top of the table with 19 points, while Wakiso sits second with 15 points.
At Al Madina Playground, Kigezi HomeBoyz FC thumped Young Elephants FC 4-0. Enock Tumwesigye gave Kigezi HomeBoyz FC an early lead in the 5th minute.

Two minutes after the restart of the second half, John Rubi Mugweri doubled their lead. Kemis Rwothomio scored the third goal for Kigezi HomeBoyz FC in the 68th minute.
John Rubi Mugweri completed his brace 11 minutes before stoppage time. Today’s win took Kigezi HomeBoyz FC to fourth place on the table, unbeaten with 13 points after nine matches.
At Bertham City Recreational Ground, Kiyinda Boys FC claimed a 2-1 victory over Iganga United FC.
Jimmy Ndalambi scored the first goal for Kiyinda Boys FC in the 57th minute. Aslaf Sanyu equalized for Iganga United in the 62nd minute.
Eleven minutes before stoppage time, Michael Kimera scored the winning goal for Kiyinda Boys FC.
At Nyamambuka Playground, Bunyaruguru United defeated Nebbi Central 2-1 at home. Alirwoti David Opio gave Bunyaruguru United the lead in the 11th minute from a penalty kick.
