FUFA Big League: Kigezi HomeBoyz FC Gets Thrilling Win Over Paidha Black Angels SC

Yesterday, the FUFA Big League commenced with an electrifying match at Al Madina playground, where hosts Kigezi HomeBoyz Football Club defeated Paidha Black Angels SC 3-2, propelling them to second place on the table with 22 points after 13 rounds, just three points behind first-placed Blacks Power FC.

The match got off to a flying start, with Timothy Beinomugisha scoring for Kigezi HomeBoyz FC in the first minute, setting the tone for an intense encounter. Basham Mugwa doubled their lead 10 minutes later, leaving Paidha Black Angels SC trailing. The visitors responded through Ismail Siraji, who pulled one back in the 22nd minute, injecting hope into their campaign.

However, Kigezi HomeBoyz FC’s Enock Tumwesigye, in top form, extended their lead in the 34th minute. Michael Ssimbwa scored a second goal for Paidha Black Angels SC in the 45th minute of halftime, keeping the score within reach.

The win marks Kigezi HomeBoyz FC’s second consecutive victory, cementing Saddick Ssempigi’s side in the promotional places. In contrast, Paidha Black Angels SC now find themselves in the relegation zone, sitting 13th with 14 points after 12 matches.
